The Art of Bake

Every once in a while, I step into the kitchen to bake my famous burnt cheesecake, turning a simple recipe into a live experiment. My favorite part is always the plating—an unplanned, purely intuitive process guided entirely by how I feel that day. Every plate is a new canvas, and every time is a completely different exploration of color, texture, and composition. I find myself obsessing over the contrast between the dark, caramelized top of the cheesecake, the matte ceramic of the cup I choose, and the vibrant pop of a fresh flower grabbed straight from the garden. And when I’m stuck on how to execute a specific fruit cut or design element? That’s my cue to dive into YouTube, social media, or any corner of the internet to figure it out. For me, plating is the perfect reminder that design is an endless playground. Always learning, never stopping, and forever finding inspiration in the everyday.
